In recent years, the ultra-right has been winning votes in Europe, especially in Italy, Germany and Spain, which all knew dictatorial regimes under the leaderships of Mussolini, Hitler and Franco in the last century. These three countries have indeed experienced the rise of extremist parties such as the Northern League of Italy, Alternative for Germany and Vox in Spain. The aim of this project is to investigate the increase of these far-right parties and to look at their influence on European liberal democracies. This project also aims at answering the following question: To what extent does the current European far right have direct consequences on the liberal democracies of Italy, Germany and Spain?
