My main targets ware to achieve the knowledge of synaesthesia and explain the reason of the existence of this phenomenon and how it is caused. I considered the possibility of synesthetes having a sixth sense. My results demonstrate that more women have this neurological condition and people do not recall this phenomenon. I’ve arrived to the conclusion that everything is only a question of perception.
It is a genetic neurological condition, with an unknown beginning. From the social point of view it is considered a negative quality and it has no physical secondary effects. If you ask a synesthete about their neurological condition, they will probably ask you if you are talking about their gift.
